The European project SwitchFloc brings together more than 12 partner institutions worldwide. Effective coordination among all partners is therefore essential to successfully achieve the project’s objectives. In this context, Rubén Olivares-Perona serves as the Project Manager, supporting administrative processes, facilitating communication between institutions, and assisting PhD candidates in overcoming challenges and progressing towards their research goals.
With four years of experience at the Universitat Politècnica de València, he has contributed to three projects related to aquaculture, with a particular focus on the optimisation of Biofloc Technology (BFT) in different commercially relevant species. His involvement in projects funded by Next Generation EU programmes has been especially valuable for developing strong expertise in project administration and the management of complex project documentation.
