SwitchFloc Project – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)
The SwitchFloc Grant Agreement is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)–funded project aimed at training the next generation of professionals in an innovative and emerging approach known as Biofloc Technology (BFT). The project offers a highly international, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral research environment, bringing together leading academic institutions and key industry partners in the aquaculture sector.
We are currently inviting applications for a PhD position entitled:
“Optimization of Shrimp Diet Formulation under Biofloc Technology (BFT)”
This doctoral research will focus on Penaeus vannamei reared under BFT systems, with the objective of optimizing diet formulations by maximizing fishmeal substitutions through alternative animal and plant-based protein sources. The position offers hands-on research experience, advanced training, and strong collaboration with both academic and industrial stakeholders.
