PhD Position in Universitat Politècnica de València under the SwitchFloc Grant Agreement
The SwitchFloc Grant Agreement is a project funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme, aimed at training the next generation of professionals in the innovative and emerging field of Biofloc Technology (BFT). The project provides a highly international, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral research environment, fostering collaboration between leading academic institutions and key stakeholders in the aquaculture industry.
We are currently inviting applications for a PhD position entitled:
“Reduction of BFT Carbon Footprint through Water Reuse and Biofloc Recycling”
This doctoral research will focus on developing strategies to improve water reuse efficiency and biofloc recycling within BFT systems, with the ultimate goal of reducing the overall carbon footprint of aquaculture production. The PhD candidate will gain hands-on research experience, advanced scientific training, and will work closely with both academic and industrial partners at an international level.
